This NiGHTS Chao plush was part of the second series of Sonic Adventure plushes. (Remember, internet usage wasn't that common in those days!) In the first series was the Neutral Chao! This was obtained from the UFO catcher machines in Japan and in Sega stores, or via the online Sega store if you lived in the US. The game was first released in Japan in December 1998 and with it, some very cool (and now very rare) Chao products! The first Chao Merchandise of course started with the first ever appearance of Chao in Sonic Adventure.
